Dr. Mancoll has over 26 years of experience in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. He has specialized in complex microsurgical procedures throughout his career. While Training in Galveston Texas he spent 5 months working at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas. While there he was able to learn from and work with some of the most influencial microsurgical breast surgeons in the country. Since then, he has made a commitment in his practice to focusing on the needs of the reconstructive breast cancer patient. Dr. Mancoll has completed over 5,000 reconstructive breast cases and is one of the most experienced DIEP flap surgeons not only in Virginia but the surrounding regions as well. Unlike many of his peers who do DIEP flaps, and need 10-12 hrs. or more to complete a typical case, he averages 4.5 hours per flap. 99% of his patients go home the following day and he has a 99% success rate for flap survival.Most patients are back to work in a few weeks. In addition to being nominated top doc 10 in Hampton Roads for the last 13 years, he has also been nominated the top cosmetic surgery practice in Hampton Roads for the last 7 years.
